Why Was This Created?

The "Water Your Roots" Blog was created to fulfill a college course. However, I have realized that blogs such as this are needed within the community. As technology advances, we need to also enhance our knowledge. There are so many ideas, methods, and opinions that aren't voiced in our everyday societal conversations. There are so many beneficial ideologies that were passed down by mouth that can now be placed into the palms of the black women who need to see/ hear this content. I hope this podcast can fulfill the needs of black women around the world who search the internet in hopes of finding their "home".
